Ulthera, also known as Ultherapy program, is a non-invasive skin lifting technology using focused ultrasound. The sound wave will repair collagen and elastin underneath the skin and stimulate its reproduction, making the skin appear firmer and more lifted.

How Does Ulthera Work?

By distributing the focused ultrasound through each skin layers, the Ultherapy device will trigger the vibration to raise thermal energy in the tissues. This action will stimulate the fibroblast cells to produce more collagen and elastin to replace the dilapidated ones, which will tighten and firm up the sagging skin in the surrounding area. The device can diffuse the ultrasound wave consistently and thoroughly throughout the area.

How Long Does Ultherapy Result Last?

The result will gradually be noticeable after the treatment, since it takes time for the collagen and elastin to reproduce and recuperate. The final result will be visible within 3-6 months. It could last up to 1-1.5 year depending on one’s skin condition and aftercare.
